DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILIES AND AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR IN ADOLESCENTS

Abstract
The family plays an important role in the formation of the young personality, within this family system each member plays a role and each one has a range of independence, adaptability and communication with others if these are not adequate, the familiar functionality. In adolescents who are in a stage of psychosocial development, aggressive behavior is a specific behavior that becomes a stable personality trait and therefore the tendency to externalize problems violently and with uncontrolled behavior is higher, therefore Parents often face challenging behaviors in which they usually present an inability to adapt to these new needs of their children and the demands that this stage implies. The objective is to analyze the existing information about the relationship between dysfunctional families and aggressive behavior in adolescents in the last seven years, through a descriptive bibliographic review. The results of the bibliographic review of the last seven years reported that aggressive behavior in adolescents has been on the rise and this is directly related to family dysfunction.
