Abstract

E-government in tax administration faces significant challenges. Clear examples include the digitization of processes, the integration of advanced technologies, and the adaptation of systems to the changing needs of taxpayers. It also addresses issues such as data security and privacy protection, as well as staff training and accessibility to different platforms. This has contributed to focusing on the limited accessibility of infrastructure in some regions and deepening resistance to change, which in some cases becomes a significant challenge for ensuring effectiveness, transparency, and equity in digital tax services. The objective of this scientific work was to analyze the challenges and challenges of implementing e-government in the tax administration of the city of Jipijapa. The most significant challenges were identified, as well as the most relevant challenges in the implementation of e-government. It was determined that tax administration contributes to improving tax collection compliance through the implementation of platforms that contribute to the adaptation of new technologies.
