INVENTORY CONTROL AND ITS IMPACT ON PROFITABILITY

Inventory control is a key practice in business management that involves monitoring, organizing and optimizing stock levels of products and materials. This process, when implemented effectively, can have a significant impact on the profitability of organizations. This article aims to determine an adequate inventory control to improve the profitability of the Lubricadora el Flaco of Cantón Jipijapa by identifying the methods used and analyzing the impact of inventory control on profitability. The methodology used was inductive-deductive, bibliographic, analytical-synthetic, complemented with research techniques to obtain information, interviews and surveys were applied to employees, through a qualitative-quantitative approach. The results reflect that most employees are unaware of the methods used for inventory control and in turn the impact generated by these methods. It is concluded that the lubrication plant has deficiencies in stock rotation, adding that for many of the workers they are unaware of the importance, which generates deficiencies in the administrative processes.
