The study focused on investigating the integration of educational technologies and the promotion of soft skills at the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí (ULEAM) Pedernales Extension, Ecuador. Given the growing recognition of the vital importance of competencies such as creativity, effective communication and problem solving in the current context, the research was strongly justified by the urgent need to improve educational quality and prepare students for the challenges of the contemporary world in constant evolution. To address this problem comprehensively, a mixed methodology was chosen that combined quantitative and qualitative approaches, using data collection techniques that included structured surveys. This approach allowed the obtaining of both numerical and contextual data, which were subsequently subjected to rigorous analysis using mixed data analysis techniques. As a result, it was possible to obtain an understanding of the studied phenomenon, which provides a solid basis for making informed decisions and implementing effective strategies. It is expected that the findings of this research will not only benefit at the institutional level, by providing valuable information to improve educational quality at ULEAM, but also at a broader level in the educational field, offering enriching and practical perspectives for other institutions facing challenges. similar in the current educational landscape.
