This study evaluates the impact of educational technologies on English teaching, using the State University of South Manabí (UNESUM) as a case study. Through a quasi-experimental design, three student groups were analyzed: one using traditional methodology and two employing technological tools such as Duolingo and Kahoot, aimed at developing competencies in grammar, listening comprehension, and oral expression. The results indicate that Duolingo significantly improved grammar and listening comprehension, while Kahoot excelled in oral expression. Additionally, a notable increase in student motivation and satisfaction was observed in the experimental groups. This article highlights the importance of integrating educational technologies into English learning, emphasizing the need for adequate infrastructure and teacher training to maximize effectiveness.
