ACCOUNTING AND TAX ADVICE: A NECESSITY FOR BUSINESSMEN IN THE FRANCISCO DE ORELLANA CANTON

Accounting and tax advisory firms play a fundamental role for companies or businesses, providing the necessary support so they can operate efficiently, legally and profitably. The objective of this study is to determine the need that businessmen in the Francisco de Orellana canton have for specialized services in accounting and tax advice. The current situation of medium, small and micro businesses was analyzed, identifying those that require these services to improve their financial situation and ensure compliance with their tax and legal obligations. To carry out the research, a field methodology and bibliographic review of scientific articles and websites were used. Integrating mixed approaches. The population studied consisted of 4,298 companies, which include medium, small and micro companies officially registered by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC) of the canton. 134 companies were selected as a sample, applying a survey using a questionnaire aimed at entrepreneurs. Which allowed us to identify their accounting and tax needs and challenges. The results highlight the importance of creating an accounting and tax advisory company to support entrepreneurs in the Francisco de Orellana canton.
