Educational development and curricular innovation are essential to respond to the challenges of the 21st century. This article analyzes three key approaches in current education: Project-Based Learning (PBL), curriculum customization through educational technology, and formative assessment. PBL fosters active and meaningful learning by engaging students in real-life projects, promoting the acquisition of skills such as problem-solving and teamwork. Educational technology allows the curriculum to be tailored to individual student needs, improving accessibility and the pace of learning. Formative assessment, integrated into the educational process, offers constant feedback and favors the customization of learning and curricular innovation. Although these approaches present challenges in their implementation, such as time investment and equity in access to technologies, their adoption is crucial to transform the educational system. This article concludes that the integration of these methods contributes to a flexible, student-centered curriculum that promotes both academic development and the skills necessary for the contemporary social and work environment.
