OPTIMIZATION OF INTERNAL COMMUNICATION PROCESSES IN THE TECHNICAL SECRETARIAT OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR IN ZONAL DIRECTION 4 – MANABÍ

Abstract

This article addresses the optimization of internal communication processes in the Technical Secretariat of Real Estate Management of the Public Sector, specifically in the Zonal Directorate 4, which covers the provinces of Manabí and Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas in Ecuador. Using a qualitative approach, current challenges in the secretariat's internal communication are examined and strategies for improvement are proposed. A combination of semi-structured interviews, documentary analysis and participant observation were used to collect data. The findings reveal areas for improvement in internal communication, such as the lack of adequate channels, ineffective transmission of information, and the absence of a strong communication culture. Recommendations for optimizing these processes are discussed, including the implementation of technological tools, strengthening upward and downward communication, and fostering an organizational culture that values transparency and collaboration.
