Abstract

The work performed by the company's staff must necessarily be evaluated in such a way that their efficiency levels are known since organizations rely on their employees to carry out both operational and administrative activities, and their business growth depends on these, which is directly related to productivity levels since this is an important factor when competing in the market. Consequently, the research aimed to analyze how performance evaluation impacts the improvement of the productivity of the LUXES company. To achieve this, it begins with a bibliographic compilation of the conceptual bases, giving greater emphasis to how human talent within companies is their greatest source of productivity, which increases the need to maintain control over the activities that are assigned to a company's collaborators. Such control can be measured through performance evaluation, allowing to determine shortcomings, or past, present and future risks in the fulfillment of organization’s goals and objectives. For this purpose, a descriptive non-experimental field investigation was carried out using information collection techniques such as employee surveys of the company under study, allowing to conclude that the personnel within the company are satisfied with their functions and remuneration. However, in the area of task assignment knowledge, induction processes are often omitted, which has caused the final results to not meet expectations, meaning that the LUXES company decreases productivity levels due to a lack of work planning. Although this is reported and taken into consideration in subsequent distribution to optimize the use of human talent and meet work goals.
