This document addresses the calculation methodology of a suspension bridge, presenting a comprehensive approach that combines theoretical and practical aspects to optimize the design and construction of these iconic structures in civil engineering. Suspension bridges require careful planning and analysis to ensure their safety, durability, and efficiency. The proposed methodology is based on a combination of analytical and numerical methods, which allow engineers to accurately model the complex static and dynamic behaviors of a suspension bridge under various loading and environmental conditions. The article highlights the importance of considering crucial factors such as the geometry of the bridge, the properties of the materials used, the expected loads. The proposed methodology not only focuses on the design stage, but also covers construction and continuous monitoring, providing a comprehensive approach that addresses the entire life cycle of the bridge. This methodological approach has a significant impact on civil engineering by allowing the creation of safer, more efficient and more sustainable suspension bridges. The results of this study have the potential to influence future suspension bridge designs by providing fundamental guidance backed by rigorous analysis.
